"Its a girl thing!!"

SW is not a morning person!

Ali, SW, and Queenie

Mommy, SW, and Queenie

Shopping with the girls!

First day of tumble class!

SW and I had our first "girls weekend". B went to Leo Fest so we girls decided to play as well. Queenie came to visit and SW, Ali, and I had a great time! SW went around all weekend telling everyone that would listen "its a girl thing". I think B is tired of hearing this. Too funny. We ate dinner at Pesto Cafe on Friday night and it was yummy! SW LOVES spaghetti. It is really funny to watch her try to eat without me helping her. Saturday we went shopping and had a blast. Miss SW of course is already working on her fall wardrobe! Thanks Queenie for coming to visit and for all of your help!
On another note we started tumble class this week. Lets just say it was a little trying! SW is not sure what to think about the class. She cried for most of the class. She keeps telling everyone about it and says she had fun. I really hope it goes better this week. She did tell Ms Julie thank you and I had fun when it was over! Oh well we will see how it goes!

Papa's Birthday

Papa and Granddad enjoying the Spring River
We love going to the river to spend time with Queenie and Papa
Papa and Meme
Between SW and Cole not sure who enjoys the river more???
Papa loves a little cat nap! Well deserved!
Happy Birthday Papa!
SW loves her Papa so very much. She loves when he comes to visit but she especially loves it when we go to the river. We are so lucky to have Papa because he is an amazing man. He is so giving and has one of the biggest hearts I know. Thank you Papa for how hard you work and for how much you love all of us!!
Happy Anniversary Queenie and Papa
Long story as to why they got married on Papa's birthday. Queenie and Papa are an amazing couple. I am not sure everyone has met them but if you have you are lucky. They are so much fun. I can still remember when I first started dating Bryan and how amazed I was at the relationship his parent's have. They did an amazing job with all three boys and I hope B and I can follow in thier footsteps. We love you both so very much and thanks for being our rock!

When life gives you lemons.....

SW and Cole. SW loves to try and get cole to play with her.

What I love to do on a lazy afternoon at the river

SW is really into cheesing for the camera! So cute.

Doing the lean!

Too funny. SW loves to sit in her closet and play in her shoes!!

Playing at home.
SW loves to walk around the house and talk on the phone. She has some serious conversations!

Make lemonade!!!! This phrase is a great way to sum up how our summer started.
I had a huge job transition with leaving JNJ taking a job that was "supposed" to be great only to last a month and get diplaced! Yuck. God works in mysterious ways and I was out of work for about a month but in July I got a new job with Eisai. What a great place to work. My new DM is great and the company seems great. I have been able to home study over the last couple of weeks. I am sharing this because I learned a lot this summer.
First is you can never have too much family time. B, SW, and I have had a blast this summer. SW is at a great age and is so much fun. SW and I have become so close and we get to spend a lot of time together. She is truly the best thing to ever happen to me. She helps me realize how to appreciate all the simple things in life. I never would have gotten to pick her up early all summer or have extra days with her without the job transitions. I know now how lucky I am with how everything turned. I have a hard time letting go of being in charge but God has shown me once again if I let him drive he always steers me in the right direction!
I can't believe summer is slowly beginning to end but I can say it didn't take a "big" vacation to make this the best summer ever! What made this the best summer ever was the time with B and SW. I say this a lot but what a lucky girl I am!!

Have a great rest of the week.

Lots of Birthdays!!

Fun in the Pool!

Papaw relaxing in the hot tub!

B, SW, Madison, and Austin playing.

I love this pic of the three cousins!! Finally everyone looking at the camera

SW and her daddy watching the kiddos on the slide.

The birthday boy going down the slip and slide.

Happy late birthday Mac. The Chaney's had a great water party in their backyard a couple of weeks ago. It was a ton of fun. SW didn't like the slides and she was really clingy to her daddy. I feel terrible sometimes because SW gets so shy when there are lots of people around. She clings to B and me. I want her to have fun and enjoy the party. I hope she grows out of this but i guess I can't complain! She is very comfortable around people she knows and it takes her some time to check out her surroundings before she will relax.

We headed down to Conway a couple of weekends ago to spend the weekend with my family. We went on Friday night and ate pizza and spent the night at a hotel. There was an indoor pool and the kiddos loved it. My parents were there and it was so much fun. The kiddos did great and loved getting to swim! Madison and Austin had a birthday party the next day and the pool was a huge hit. Who knew you could rent a conference room have a birthday party then use the pool!! Great idea for birthdays in the hot summer heat! I love the picture of SW, Madison, and Austin. It is so hard to get all three kiddos still, smiling, and looking at the camera!
Happy late birthday to Will Brown! He also turned 2 a couple of weeks ago!! Hope to see you soon.
