We had another lazy, fun, friend filled weekend. We went to FCC friday night for dinner with friends, bday party, basketball game, and ended saturday night at the suttons! Whew!! Sunday we were lazy before church and then we worked in the yard for a bit. The weather continues to be amazing and we are getting spoiled. Queenie is coming to town on Sunday for a short visit! yay. we love when our family comes to town!!!

I am really enjoying the year of the family in 2012!! This little family is learning to relax and just have fun!

Nana, Pappaw, Deb, Madison, and Austin came to town! We celebrated Pappaws birthday and had a great time!! We cooked dinner for everyone at home on Friday night!! Saturday the weather was AMAZING so the kiddos played outside! We had so much with all of the family in town! The kids were awesome and played really well together! I love having everyone come to visit! Another great weekend for this new year!

One of my goals for our family this year was to just enjoy each other. I decided we needed to turn off the tv, close the computer, and turn off our phones to just play. Wow how much fun this has been! We have been eating dinner as a family most nights and really making an effort to just play. SW seems much happier and life has been good. Personally I am trying to make the most of each day and learning to relax more! The laundry, beds, and house can wait this mamma is loving her family! I know we are not far into the new year but so far we i am proud of my little family!!!

We had the most fun over the Christmas break! The weather was AMAZING and we loved our leisure time! If the last two weeks are an indication of whats to come in 2012, i can say we are READY!!

The last year has had a few bumpy spots but we are healthy, happy, and ready to see what 2012 has for this family!! My number 1 resolution for this family is to enjoy each day! Don't put off the small things for another day! Enjoy the day and what time we have as a family each night. This is hard for me because i like order and structure but i have been putting my best foot forward the first 5 days and wow we have had a GREAT time! We have been eating dinner as a family each night and playing until it is time to go to bed! We noticed last night when we got in bed that the tv had not been on all night! For anyone that knows us this is HUGE!

Happy New Year!! We are ready for this year and all it has in store for us! God is in the driver's seat and we are ready for the ride!!

So i did an AWFUL job of picture taking while we were at the river over Christmas! Bera took pics so i will get some from her! SW, B, and I loaded up Christmas day to head to the river to spend the holidays with the Coopers! We had so much fun and had we had present overload!! :)) SW and Mitchell got a lot of bonding time and had a great time figuring out her new kindle fire! We don't get to see him often so we love to soak up all the time we can with him! We are keeping our fingers crossed that he will be closer to us one day!! :)

Queenie and Papa know how to entertain for any occasion but Christmas is in overdrive!! Queenie puts up tons of decorations and we always have so much fun opening presents! The food is super yummy and I feel like i eat 100% of the time I am at the river!! Bera and Darlene also came over for the night and we got to play with them! B, SW, and I are truly blessed with the amount of family we have! We have so many people that love us and always more than willing to lend a hand.

Each night during our family prayer we thank God for the amazing family we have and how much they mean to us! Both sides of our families are amazing and we always get so spoiled by all the attention and love we get when we visit!!

B, SW, and I spent Christmas eve and morning at home! It was such a special time for the three of us. We visited with some friends, went to church, and had a great time as a family! We decided to not make a huge dinner because we would be travelling the next day so we ordered pizza, put on our pjs, and just had a great relaxing night waiting on Santa! Saying goodbye to Charlie the elf was very traumatic to say the least! SW was so sad. Santa had sent her a letter that she could hug Charlie one time to say goodbye and she had crocodile tears!

We had a wonderful time as our little family of 3!! Merry Christmas!!
